Today more than ever, designing means questioning how to generate value for the community that accesses spaces and services, a mission that we hold dear and to which we dedicate our research. The Italian State Property Agency has entrusted Politecna Europa and Progetto CMR with the design for the construction of the new Police Headquarters in Genoa, at the Nino Bixio Barracks.

The Masterplan proposal provides for an accurate distribution of functions for the respective users, with external green areas for the Immigration Office and an adequate wayfinding system, ensuring comfort and efficiency. The project envisages an energetically autonomous building, with the aim of obtaining the LEED GOLD certification and compliance with the criteria of the WELL protocol.

We are at the forefront of the new research laboratories of the Faculty of Civil and Industrial Engineering for the La Sapienza University of Rome.

The project, presented together with Italiana Costruzioni SpA, is first in the preliminary award ranking, and aims to reactivate the space to promote sociability, sustainability and architectural quality for the hosted academic community. A crucial element for the regeneration of the Tiburtina station area, the second railway station of the city of Rome.
