On the site of the former Turinetto army offices in Albenga (SV), the city’s new school campus aims to reconcile didactic needs of different schools and their respective communities. Politecna’s project introduces a building-plant system, designed to promote sustainability environment, energy efficiency and consumption close to zero (N-ZEB building), and it has been entirely developed in BIM processing the highest levels of definition and detail.
The pool sets as an Educational Campus, in which didactic spaces and laboratories are uniquely intended for students while providing also areas that are open to the public such as the library, auditorium and gymnasium. The quality of the project is enriched by numerous green areas that surround the complex, encouraging the use open spaces as well as sociability spaces stimulating curiosity and creativity.
